Employment History: |
Programmer / Consultant I do client-side web programming using HTML, CSS1, CSSP and cross-platform DHTML, using JavaScript, JScript, and ECMAScript. On the server-side, I use Server-Side JavaScript, MediaScript, PHP and some PERL. I can optimize a site for wireless (WAP) using WML. I am now moving more into PalmOS development, creating eBooks and programming with C++. I have some familiarity with Java and MySQL. On the Mac, I optimize with AppleScript. I also process art for the web and port art across platforms for applications and prototypes. I am available for short-term training and consulting.
Senior Web Developer I did both client-side and server-side programming. Mostly, my job was to get web technologies to work together. I also consulted on what the scope of the job should be, which technologies should be used, and how long things will take to complete. I wrote design documents and specs, and helped with proposals.
Instructor I created a web design syllabus and designed the teaching materials. I administered the intranet web server, an H-P running NT. I taught undergraduate and graduate art students to write HTML and JavaScript from scratch, as well as how to optimize graphics for the web. |
