DC Comics can claim until they're blue in the face that Conner is a clone of Clark and Lex, but you can't be a clone of more than one person. That's not how it works. If you got your DNA from two people, they are your parents, and you are their child.

| Superboy is actually Clark and Lex's test tube baby, a Cadmus Labs project who got away. He thinks he is a clone of Superman, until Lex spills the beans in an email to Robin. (from Teen Titans 1) | |
| Conner dismisses the email as a bad joke, but Robin takes a more pragmatic approach. (from Teen Titans 6) | |
| Despite Conner's unkind words, Lex remains devoted to him. (from Teen Titans 20) | |
| We have also seen a future where Conner has become Superman, and Lex is living on the Kent farm, in which they clearly love each other. In this future, we learn that Conner, though a hybrid, is fertile. Lex complains that Conner and his wife, Wondergirl, have not made him a grandfather. (from Teen Titans 19) | |
| It was all about love, anyway. Here Clark shows Conner where he used to go when he was cutting class. (from Teen Titans 7) | |
